Welcome to Cameron Highlands! My mom, Chelsea, and I stayed here for a weekend before we headed off to Thailand.

Off to KL for the night before I got my mom at the airport the following day. Milo waited patiently for us to come back the next day!

Dinner with Carol and Holly on the beach in Beserah, about 10 minutes north of me. I love this beach life I live.

Milo was listening intently to my conversation with my mom on Skype. She's so excited to see her in a few days!

Today we went to the Peace Corps 50th Anniversary exhibit at the library in Kuantan where we received a book about the Peace Corps program in Malaysia, with our picture in it :) Holly and I needed a ride later in the day, so we hitchhiked with our picture. Success!

Holly's school invited us to "buka puasa" which means "break fast". Since it is Ramadan, all the Muslims do not eat or drink from 5:30am until 7:30pm.
